Thai food this good is extremely hard to find. Excellent all around! I will post more later. If you drive by and think it doesn't look good, you are wrong.

First off, I drove pass this place. It's so easy to miss businesses on the emerald gulf! They're either tucked away or hidden by trees. Finally, I made it! Like most businesses here the outside looks like an old run down hole in the wall; this place was definitely that with a lot of personal charm. I ordered the pad Thai - for the baby so absolutely no spice and the extra spicy red curry to go, please! We waited for approximately 10 minutes. The food was conveniently placed in a box to prevent spillage. The pad Thai was 3/5 - I think because it lacked spice but that's what I asked for. My toddler loved it and devoured her bowl! My extra spicy red curry was indeed spicy with the right amount of meat and veggies, but for me personally I would've liked more veggies, 3/5. I think being from Houston where Asian cuisine is of an abundance, my standards are high. The food was decent, not something I would remotely go out of my way for.

Pretty legit. I usually am there just for lunch and their larb dish is on point. Their food reminds me of my mother's home cooked dishes. This is the closest I've come to how authentic it is.

Thai noodles just the way I like them--not overcooked, delicious broth and just the right amount of cilantro and lemon grass. The golden tofu was the crispiest tofu I've ever had--maybe a bit too crunchy actually, but the Thai woman who waited on me caught me slurping the broth out of my too-large-to-do-that-politely bowl. Really a delicious offering from a humble restaurant.

Delicious Thai, quick service, kind workers, and an affordable price. Need I explain more as to why I have 5-stars? Definitely DON'T judge this book by its cover. I'll be going back!

Updated review on March 3rd: Consistency is lacking here and I really wanted to like this place a lot and for it to not disappoint! Everytime I order the noodle soup (which isn't on their lunch menu either so it's regular price) it tastes different and does not have the same ingredients. That's disappointing. I ordered it with vegetables and no meat and the only vegetables that came in were bean sprouts and the broth was not even covering the noodles. The server was nice enough to add broccoli but no garlic flakes or cabbage, carrots, etc. The lady who cooked the food came out to see why I was unhappy, I explained to her what was the issue and she seemed to understand and was apologetic. I am maintaining 4 stars because the place truly cares about its customers and want to do everything possible to make sure you like what you're eating. All other dishes are on point so my only suggestion is to improve the consistency. --------- Great spot! Small and hidden so drive slowly. The food was great! I had the vegetarian (with tofu) Thai noodle soup and my fiancé had the chicken basil. Both were excellent! The soup was perfect, fresh veggies, great garlicky taste and healthy. The basil chicken dish was also very good and much healthier than most other Thai places make it, the sauce was not heavily doused in soy sauce and the veggies were not overly fried. Also tried the cucumber salad which was great. Small and intimate with a welcoming vibe. I knew it's a good place when the owner and some other Thai individuals were eating next to us! You also get a fried egg roll as an appetizer. Not much for fried stuff so I didn't really care but it's a nice touch. One negative was that it was very chilly inside but he soup did the trick and warmed me up pretty quickly. The decor inside and layout suffers a bit and could be improved, lighting could be dimmed too, adding some candles to the tables would also help a lot. Hope they do well! I will be back for some other dishes!

This place has been open for around 2 years now and the whole time I would just drive by it on my way to and from work. Today I decided to give it a chance. The place is quiet, cozy and clean on the inside. The waitress is an older and very polite lady. We ordered an appetizer to start, the fresh rolls. These were like a Vietnamese spring roll with the clear rice paper and fresh veggies inside, they were very good. Dinner was chicken pad Thai. Also came out great. The check for 2 pad Thai and the appetizer was around $22. Not bad! I will come and visit again!

Really friendly staff and always super nice. The restaurant is kind of small and seats are limited for indoors. Sitting outdoors is out of the question during high FL temperatures. The food is AMAZING! The best chicken Pad Thai i've had in Ft Walton! Good food, good prices, and good people!

I have traveled extensively around the word living in Thailand for an extended stay which is where I discovered my love for Thia food. This place reminded me of one of my favorites in Phitsanulok. The Tom Yum soup was the best I have tasted in my travel from Japan, Hawaii, Virginia, Washington DC and a bunch of other places. If you are familiar with Thai food, then you will love the flavor of each dish. 4 1/2 stars -- would give it 5, but the back drop of actually being in Thailand is missing!

I ordered the pad Thai with chicken, which was really good and even had little bits of fried tofu mixed in. My favorite thing I ate were the spring rolls, which come with the lunch portion. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was fast.

Medium chicken fried rice was probably top three I've ever had. The spring rolls weren't over fried. The staff is friendly and the food came fairly quick for 4 people. It looks like a hole in the wall but don't judge a book by its cover.

Pad Thai isn't anything to write home about. The soup was enjoyed. Only had two people working the front of the house. No body to help buss tables or work register. Too busy at lunch for that to work.

Even for your most enthusiastic fan of Thai food, the sheer number of Thai restaurants in the Fort Walton Beach area seems alarming. Came here for lunch and tried their pad thai. They must be one of the few Thai restaurants in the area that do not have a lunch special. The pad thai tastes similar to what the temple serves on Sundays. It was okay. $10 including tax and tip.

I've been waiting for this place to open forever and finally had the chance to go check it out today. I ordered the Thai tea and came in a large glass and wans't too syrupy sweet for my liking. I also got shrimp Pad Thai fixed medium spicy. I've had a lot of Pad Thai and this was pretty good and the portion was HUGE - I almost have enough for two more meals. The owners are nice and they've fixed this place up well. It much cleaner and brighter than when the building belonged to Boday's or even when it was the Indian restaurant. We have very few restaurants in this section of 98 and they are a great alternative to Taco Town and Arby's (even though I really like Arby's too). If you live in the neighborhood, you should stop by and check this place out.

I eat at a lot of Thai restaurants, and a lot of ethic ones. Our meal was pretty bland, and tasteless, my husband had to drench the Basil garlic fried rice in soy sauce to taste anything besides greasy rice. I had the drunken noodles (since it was called Thai Noodle I thought they would have specialty noodle dishes, but there were only 4) and there was nothing exciting about them, they were just greasy wide noodles with cilantro flavoring. We both ordered them medium spicy. We should have been weary when the place looked like a dive and add to it that she brought out my husbands drink with ice even though he requested no ice. We were the only patrons, so there was no reason she should have forgotten. First thing I asked about was if tofu was an option and was told yes. Then I asked about one of the specials on the board for curry puffs. I asked if they had any meat in them, she said they are made with chicken, but could also be done with vegetables. So I ordered them. They came out and we both thought there might have been chicken, and when she finally comes back, I asked if she was sure there was no meat, to which she said let me go double check. She came back and told me there was chicken in it, and I told her we were vegetarian for over 6 years and meat will make us sick. She looked at us blankly until I told her to take it away, we cant eat it. She did not offer any fixes to this or to make it the right way, or even apologize. When we go to pay and leave, the curry puffs were still on the bill so we ask her to take them off and she said we had to talk to the owner. As we explain to the owner what happened, the server rudely interupts us and denies saying the puffs could be made with the veggies. The owner immediately waved her quiet and took it off the bill no problems. There are many Thai food places in this area, I would pass this one by if I were you, at least with current wait staff.

We stopped here by mistake, did uturn to eat at the fast food restaurant next door and decided to stop here instead. Wait staff (probably owners) were great and the food was amazing. Also, there were only locals here from the military base eating so I think thats a good sign.

Great prices! Great food and service. A lot of food for lunch menu prices. Includes the soup of the day, rice, and an egg roll. Had the Pad Thai and it was really tasty.

This place was very good. The pad thai I had was soooooooooo tasty I wanted to lick my plate clean. I ordered it extra spicy and they didn't disappoint! The inside was pretty basic with some Asian pictures for those people who are super bent on the decor... Our service was fantastic. She seemed concerned that we ordered it too hot. Priceless! LOL I would gladly go back to this place.

I got the chicken pad thai and pork lahp. Pad Thai portion was about average, same with the lahp. Asked for Thai hot and it was actually Thai hot, kudos there. Overall, the food was decent. I would come back if I was on that side of town, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat there. I'll have to try the noodle soup next time.

Don't let the sign fool you. I have driven past this place for years. Stopped in with the discriminating family, they loved it! Very fresh, and tasty. Very clean. Prices are very reasonable, good portions as well. We will be back.

Great lunch deal. Quality, fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating. Had the $8 drunken noodles with white meat chicken. A couple of days later I had the chicken soup. Delicious; if I had to choose between the two, I probably like the soup better. Don't come here if you are looking for ambience or frills. This is no-frills, fresh, quick-ish (15 minute wait) Thai food. Will definitely eat here again.

Doesn't look like much on the outside or even inside but Oh my gosh the food is really that good. My husband ate there more often but I only just had it once last week. We moved to the area just recently. I love Thai soup and always order it in every Thai place I go....and Thai noodle has the best one ever, I'm not kidding. I also had the red curry and loved it and I don't even like bell peppers that much, probably won't order it again cause of those darn peppers but if it was the only thing on the menu I would still come to get it. My husband had garlic beef (can't really remember the name) just like I can't remember what the dish my kids shared which was with noodles with sweet sauce with peanuts. I couldn't stop myself from eating their food as well. Yum, makes me want to go there right now but sadly it's Sat and they are closed on the weekend.

I was looking forward to this place opening- for a long time. But what a disappointment it is. Although the building has been given a decent spruce-up, the food leaves a lot to be desired. There are 13 items on the menu: 1 spring roll appetizer @ $6.95 for 6 small rolls; 4 fried rice variations; 6 noodle dishes with variations and 1 noodle soup. Pricing ranges from $7.95 to $8,95. The spring rolls are mostly cabbage tasting and the fried rice is mostly rice with small amounts of onions and even less chicken and no sauces. I watched the waitress dispense sweet tea ($2.00) which was 90% ice and 10% tea...This place is a waste of time and money, especially since there are at least 10 other Thai restaurants within 5 miles that have more extensive menus with much more flavorful food. Taco Town is s better choice, right down the road...
